IT'S 2009!(...)Okay I'm a little hesitant about moving on to the next year. But I can't help it. 2008 was a good year for me. There were ups and downs, but I made it through happy in one piece, and with all my amazing friends surrounding me. The thing about 2008 was that I wasn't new to the months ahead that I would be experiencing. And 2 years ago, 3E promised that our bond would be covalent, but what the hay, ain't gonna happen. Empty promises aside, I am still very happy I have an 'Ace Gang', or the Nut-ters, to always hang out with.
This year has been so eventful. Hmmm, let me reminisce. *Shrugs chin and flashback*
I made a lot of new friends.I became a drifter in class.I fell into deep depression.I made a decision to made something out of myself, in LA!I almost fell into the pits of a gender twist.I hated.I hated less.I hated again. I stopped hating.I was the epitome of negativity.I shed away that negativity shell.I became crazily happy.I had weird mood swings.I managed to plan a class outing.I fell out with friends.I had friends who decided to hurt me.I was smart enough to just be myself, and be happy about it.I was smart enough to realize the real true friends surrounding me.I stopped trying to be liked by some people.I decided to stop listening to criticism by ex-perfect people.I stopped hanging out with people who would hurt me.I learned that I rather be hated for I am not, than be liked for who I am not.I learned that true friends don't mind what kind of a person you are.I learned that true friends forgive and forget.I learned that true friends do not hide their true feelings about me, no matter how bad they are.I learned that true friends AREN'T THEM!I organized a cooking session by myself, and it turned out to be a success.I came up with an idea of a badminton outing.I kept in contact with my primary school besties.I screwed up my 'O' Level Examinations beyond the valley of technician-ville.I missed a Chinese exam due to momentary mental disability.I changed to a better phone.I watched Angus, Thongs, And Perfect Snogging 3 times!I fell in love with Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging!I fell in love with Georgia Groome and Aaron Johnson!Yup, that's about it. Anyway, I watched the Thong movie again. Still as awesome as ever! Haha! Sherina was happy I forced her to watch it with me. Wee Kiat's inner soul was slashed, hard. LOL.
My new year resolutions are very simple.
1) Keep in close contact with my friends.2) Stay in school.3) Buy Angus, Thongs, And Perfect Snogging OST and DVD.4) Make myself noticeable to Talent Scouts. LOL.Getting late. Gonna go Maple now. Happy New Year! :]
